I'm Elodie, if you wonder how to pronouce my name, it's very easy L.O.D. and I'm the one behind the camera ! :-) I'm a French freelance wedding photographer who decided to make the West of Ireland my new home ! I'm based in Co. Mayo but I'm happy to cover the whole of Ireland and beyond.
BEGINNING OF THE ADVENTURE
Photography has always had a special place in my life. When I was a child, wedding albums were laid out on the table and endlessly re-organized. As I grew up, I started to photograph more and more of my relatives, to freeze moments of life and accumulate all those pictures in a huge number of photos books. The wedding photography adventure started in 2019, when a friend ready to say "YES" asked me to cover her wedding day. After a very short moment of hesitation, I accepted and I have been booked since !
MY APPROACH
I shoot weddings in a documentary and story-telling way, meaning I will cover the flow of your special day as it goes. I love capturing the natural interactions and emotions between people from a discreet angle, to get the real reactions of the day. I love to see the bride and groom being suprised when they get their galleries, especially when in the moment on their big day, they never notice me taking a particular picture. You'll look back at your photographs remembering the atmosphere of your wedding day. That is my best reward !
On the day, my approach is to find a balance between natural looking photographs of you and your guests enjoying the day, as well as a portrait and/or bridal session as you wish.
Every couple is different, it is key for me to get familiar with your story and your wishes to customise your pictures as much as possible. Leading up to your wedding we'll discuss together your expectations, to make your big day as stress-free as possible.
MY SERVICES
My package includes an online gallery on my webstie with a private acess. I will also give you all the photographs taken on the day in High Defintion on a customised USB drive. I don't limit the hours as I want to be there with you, for as long as it takes to cover your special day.
In addition to my passion for wedding photography, I also offer a range of services which include engagements shoots, day-after session or wedding albums. Indeed, I have a dedicated brochure for wedding album to make sure you'll find the perfect fit to display and share your beautiful wedding photos.
